Julia Entwistle
Impressionist Landscape painter
‘It’s not just about capturing the mood of a place; it’s about catching the very essence of its soul’
I am a Lancashire based artist. My paintings are often described as ‘ethereal’ and bathed in a ‘half-light’.
When I am painting, I love to capture the mood of a place rather than rely on a topographical study of the surrounding landscape.

Skipton
Sat March 25th – Sun March 26th 2023
I will be exhibiting my work at the Skipton Auction Market. This is the first time that the organisers of Art in the Pen have held a trade fair. It is a great opportunity for artists to showcase and sell their work with the intention of enticing buyers and gallery owners.

What is my inspiration?
